I. Information We Collect
Meeriad collects information about you, including information that directly or indirectly identifies you, if you choose to share it with Meeriad. We receive information in multiple ways, including when you complete a program or other activities using Meeriad. Meeriad also collects information about how you use Meeriad. There are also several opportunities for you to share information about yourself and your activities with Meeriad.
We collect information such as name, email address, username, country and language to help us secure access to Meeriad and to be able to identify you.
We collect information about when you choose to work out (including date, time, exercise information etc), or otherwise use Meeriad.
You can choose to add your contacts’ information to Meeriad to more easily connect with your contacts’ in Meeriad. It includes contacts’ information from a third-party provider. If you choose to use this feature Meeriad will access and store your contacts’ to be able to notify you when new contacts join Meeriad or display contacts already in Meeriad. By submitting such contact information you confirm that you have the authority to use and share such information.
Content you share in Meeriad
Meeriad gathers information about challenges, teams or other content you create, challenges you participate in and other activities such as comments and likes you share in Meeriad.
If you choose to sign up and log in to Meeriad using accounts you created with third-party services such as Sign in with Facebook or Google (collectively, “Third-Party Accounts”) we will collect information that you agreed to make available such as name, email address and profile information. This information is collected by the Third-Party Account provider and is provided to Meeriad under their privacy policies. You can generally control what information they share with us by using their privacy settings.
If you chose to provide us with your contact information, for example by emailing us, we will use this to respond to support requests and comments.
Use across our services
We may combine information we collect from you with information obtained from other users, third parties and information derived from any other subscription, product or service we provide.
We collect technical information from the devices you use to access Meeriad. This information is used to analyze trends and protect and secure Meeriad. The information collected includes network information; including IP addresses, timestamps, log files, and operating system.
Meeriad does not collect or process credit or debit card (“Payment Card”) information. Apple and Google collect Payment Card information with respect to in-app purchases made through the Apps, and our payment processor collects Payment Card information with respect to purchases made through the Websites. Such payment processors generally provide us with some limited information related to you, such as a unique token that enables you to make additional purchases using the information they’ve stored, and your card’s type, expiration date, billing address, and the last four digits of your card number.
II. Processing of Your Information

III. Where We Store Your Personal Information
All information you provide to us through Meeriad is stored on our secure servers located in Paris. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology; all payment information is stored with our payment processor and is never stored on Meeriad’s servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of Meeriad, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone, and suggest that your change your password frequently.
IV. How We Use Information
We also use your information to analyze and improve Meeriad. To accomplish this Meeriad may use third party providers to analyze and gain insight into how Meeriad is used and to help us improve Meeriad.
We use your device information to send you notifications about events that occur in Meeriad. You can always control what notifications you receive from Meeriad from the Settings section of your device. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us. Meeriad will use your information to communicate with you, for example by sending you notifications.
V. How Information Is Shared
We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics with outside parties, such as how many people follow a program, most popular program, devices, etc.
To analyse, gain insight and improve Meeriad we might share de-identified information with thirdparties. These third parties will only receive the information needed to perform these specific actions, and Meeriad will never share more information than necessary.
In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.
We may share your information with third parties who provide services to Meeriad such as supporting and improving Meeriad or promoting Meeriad. These service providers will only have access to the information necessary to perform these limited functions on our behalf and are required to protect and secure your information.
We may also engage service providers to collect information about your use of Meeriad over time on our behalf so that we or they may promote Meeriad or display information that may be relevant to your interests in Meeriad or other websites or services.
Publicly Available Information
We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.
VI. How We Protect Information
We work hard to keep your data safe in Meeriad from the collection, transmission and storage of the data we collect. We use a combination of technical controls to maintain the security of your data. This includes using industry standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt many of our services and ensure that information is transmitted and stored securely in Meeriad. In addition to this, we protect this information using advanced firewall technology.
The transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to Meeriad. Transmitting personal information is done at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

Notifications and Email Preferences
Access Your Data
If you do not have an account then no personal information will be stored outside the device being used. By logging in to your account, you can access much of your information.
You also have the option to download your personal data we have on you, including your activities and comments on Meeriad, by sending us a request at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Editing and Deleting Your data
From Meeriad you can always edit your information such as email address, name, username etc.
You may delete your account directly from Meeriad. Once deleted, your data, including account, activities and leaderboard placements cannot be reinstated.
VIII. Data Retention
We keep information as long as it is necessary to operate Meeriad. We keep all of your information until you either delete your account or if your account has been inactive for a certain amount of time, whichever happens first. Following the deletion of your account, it may take up to 90 days to fully delete your personal information from our systems.
Information about you that is no longer necessary and relevant to provide our services may be deidentified and aggregated with other non-personal data to provide insights which are commercially valuable to Meeriad, such as statistics of the use of Meeriad.
IX. Tracking Technologies
Meeriad and our analytics partners use technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts to enable a service to recognize your device so you don't have to provide the same information several times during one task, recognize that you may have already given a password so you don't need to do it for every web page requested, and to measure how people are using Meeriad.
We use local storage, such as HTML5, to store content information and preferences. Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on Meeriad also use HTML5 to collect and store information. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5.
We partner with third parties, such as Facebook and Google, to manage our advertising on other sites or platforms as well as across your other devices based on your past visits to our website. Our third party partners may use technologies such as cookies to gather information about your activities within Meeriad to deliver such advertising to you, such as retargeting ads. We will acquire consent from you in order to use such trackers for advertising purposes to the extent required by applicable law. We currently do not respond to do-not-track signals. Please note that this does not opt you out of being served ads. You may continue to receive generic ads on these third party platforms. You may also opt out of receiving ads across devices by adjusting your ad preference in your Google account.
We use third party trackers to let us know when users have visited Meeriad by “clicking-through” our sponsored advertising or content hosted on third party platforms. Meeriad uses Google Analytics code to gather statistical information. Google Analytics sets cookies to help us accurately estimate the number of visitors to Meeriad and the volumes of usage of Meeriad. This is done to ensure that Meeriad is available when you want them and are fast. For more information on how Google Analytics processes this information, visit www.google.com/analytics.
We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our mobile software on your phone. This software may record information such as how often you engage with Meeriad, the events that occur within Meeriad, aggregated usage and performance data, and where the Applications were downloaded from. We may link the information we store within the analytics software to any personal information you submit within the mobile application.
As true of most websites, we gather certain information and automatically and store it in log files. This information may include Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data. If you receive the HTML-formatted version of our email newsletter, your opening of the newsletter is notified to us and saved. Your clicks on links in the newsletter are also saved. These and the open statistics are used in aggregate form to give us an indication of the popularity of the content and to help us make decisions about future content and formatting.

XI. Changes to This Policy
